These professionals represent many cultures in Asia, Europe and The Americas and bring a broad range of international living and work experience to provide excellent, up-to-date learning programs. Our associates come from the fields of business management and leadership, organization development, coaching, training, and international business consulting.

Carolyn Feuille, M.A., M.S. President, Esprit Global Learning

As a training consultant and coach who is committed to intercultural effectiveness in business, Carolyn Feuille specializes in global leadership, global team development, and successfully adapting expatriates and their families to new countries.

And how did it all start?

Carolyn’s career began in Bogotá, Colombia, where she taught English as a foreign language to business clients. Directly experiencing the social and economic differences between the two countries stirred up her awareness of the profound impact culture has on our lives on the personal, organizational and national levels.

Later she lived and worked in several regions of France for four years, where she taught specialized English communication skills for managers at Kodak-Pathé as well as for French scientists and managers at the prestigious Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. While working in the U.S. semi-conductor industry at VLSI Technology (now Phillips Semiconductor), Carolyn enabled management to successfully achieve and maintain ISO 9001 certification for U.S., Japanese and European sites. Then, as a training manager at Synopsys, she developed a new–employee assimilation program for worldwide dissemination.

Today, as a coach and performance consultant, she brings her expertise in executive and professional development to global companies, especially high tech firms in Silicon Valley.

This rich career experience has culminated in the development of the Polaris^® Global Leadership Competency Model and 360° Assessment Survey. This unique and pioneering competency model and assessment was co-developed with Bruce Griffiths, President and Founder of Organization Systems International. It enables leaders to increase their awareness of their strengths as a global leader and to engage in the skill-building process to address key developmental needs.

M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from University of California in Los Angeles

M.S. in HR Management/Organization Development, from Golden Gate University in San Francisco

Coach certification from Corporate Coach U International

Certificate in Total Quality Management from San Jose State University, San Jose, California

Carolyn speaks fluent French and holds the Diplôme Supérieur de Français des Affaires granted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris.

Carolyn is a certified facilitator of Interaction Management by DDI, The Human Element by BConNetwork, and business process improvement by Rummler–Brache Group. She is the author of a textbook: TELE-VESL: Business Telephone Skills. She has presented at many international conferences, has organized three professional conferences of 100–600 attendees and an ASTD international conference, and has helped organize three press conferences with nation&ndashwide television coverage for UNICEF in San Francisco. She co&ndashled the Northern California chapter of SIETAR from 1991–1994.

On the lighter side, Carolyn is a native Californian and lives in the historic California Gold Country with her husband and two cats. She is very partial to French and Californian wines and chocolates.
